Finding Financial Zen

In the Midst of Turmoil There is Peace

Have you found yourself reacting to the turmoil around you by pulling back from the things you enjoy? On the one hand it seems to make sense to keep a low profile and try to ride out the storms the best you can. Survival tendencies are very real. On the other hand, this is your life, today – here and now. For your financial health it’s critical to make space for peace.

Every new headline presents an opportunity to interrupt plans, change directions and evaluate choices. Being grounded in knowing who you are and what you can contribute brings clarity and purpose. Find peace within yourself by confirming your strengths, values and goals.

Flow With the Currents

Once you reaffirm your purpose and intentions, create a list of how you want to show up every day. Be clear about how and where you can make a positive contribution. Give yourself clear action items to work towards each week/month and continue to strive towards building a life you love.

Continuously review where and how your resources are being invested. Without a clear direction, emotions will take the lead and veer you off-course. You’ll find yourself wasting precious time and money on things that don’t reflect your passion. Align your daily cashflow with your goals. Be intentional.
