Holiday Financial Guide 2020
The Holiday Season Countdown has Begun
We’ve created a year-end calendar to help you breeze through this holiday season. From planning meals to sending out cards, we’ve got you covered. Give yourself the gift of less financial stress this year with our free Holiday Financial Guide.
Kick off your holiday season with a Money Management Day. Work out your budget now! Include every detail, from gifts to food to cards and shipping. Get creative with personal touches, such as homemade treats or gift baskets. Be sure to take advantage of any coupons, gift cards, points or rebates you can use.
Make room for having fun. Decorate with paper snowflakes or colorful paper chains. Try your hand at making popcorn garland or your very own gingerbread house from scratch. Use newspaper, store flyers or paper bags to create unique gift wrapping. Break out the crayons and magic markers.
Start New Traditions and Treasure Old Ones
Every year is unique, yet traditions are a wonderful way to create memories that can be treasured for a lifetime. This year think about traditions you want to keep and maybe some you want to add. Enjoy the sights, sounds and scents of the holiday season in a way that is meaningful to you.
Keep a holiday journal. Write down the meals, people and places you enjoy each year. Jot down your thoughts as the year comes to an end and another year begins. Over time you will have so many memories to treasure and celebrate.
From my house to yours, may you have a peaceful stress-free holiday season as we close out 2020 and welcome in the new year!
